Frümel makes Utrecht a little bit of home. The people of Frümel often hear that people feel comfortable in the store. People like to come back. This is how the owners explain: "We once had an elderly lady in the shop who became emotional for a while. She said that she missed a certain coziness at home and that she felt it here. We chatted together and a few months later she came back. She thanked us for the conversation and said that she had enjoyed it very much and that the store felt like a "cozy living room" again. Fru-what? Frümel is a vintage furniture store with a playful Limburg name, but they are located in Utrecht. They even have two locations! With a showroom on Hardebollenstraat and a permanent store at Amsterdamsestraatweg 322, this is one of my favorites. They are open Friday-Saturday afternoons and by appointment.

An interview with Frümel: about Limburg sobriety and the hunt for vintage treasures
Fair is fair: until previously, shopping center 'de Klop' in Utrecht's Overvecht was not the most charming place for an errand or two. But now there is Frümel - a breath of fresh air full of Limburg sobriety and great talent for vintage hunting. "Sometimes I almost lose myself in my enthusiasm for a product - then I'm like one of those happy pups, you know?"

WAt a day! WAt a people! what an opening!
The opening of Hardebollen Street is already in the past but the memories are still in our memory. WAt was fantastic. Opening the second location in the middle of the city, we wouldn't have dared dream of that a year ago. Frümel is more and more on the map and more and more people have heard of frümel "that vintage furniture store, how do you pronounce it again?"

Oh shit. So Webshop Frümel is that really cute and oh so lovable vintage interior design shop you've always been looking for, with exactly those rattan chairs, that 1970s coffee table and that old typewriter. Shit. Because Frümel is so also that road kick with vintage home decor stuff you want for very fair prices. Shit so, because now I have to buy everything. And another house.
