Restoration
Do you also restore customers' furniture?
Yes, in specific cases. Especially with Pastoe furniture (designs by Cees Braakman) we offer restoration on request. Please contact contact us for the possibilities or send a message via the WhatsApp icon at the bottom right of the site.
What does 3D restoration mean at Frümel?
We design and 3D-print parts such as handles or hinges that are no longer available. We fit these professionally for the most original result possible.
Do you restore entirely to original design?
Yes, whenever possible. We strive to restore the furniture to its original state while maintaining character and authenticity.
How long does a restoration project take?
On average, between 1 and 6 weeks, depending on the condition of the furniture and availability of parts.
3D parts
Can I order 3D printed parts separately?
Yes, we offer several parts for Pastoe furniture that you can apply yourself. Check out our vintage design parts for the current selection.
What parts do you supply?
Among other things, we supply various handles, hinges and other characteristic Pastoe elements. Is your part not listed? Please contact contact us or send a message via the WhatsApp icon at the bottom right of the site.
Collection & offerings
Is your furniture original vintage?
Yes. All of our furniture are original pieces from the 1950s through the 1980s, carefully selected and restored.
Is the furniture readily available?
Yes, unless otherwise stated. All furniture on the website is physically in stock.
Do you also sell individual parts or accessories?
Only in the context of restoration, such as 3D parts. No general accessories.
Ordering & Shipping
Can I reserve a piece of furniture?
Yes, we can hold a piece of furniture for you for 7 days. To do this, please fill in the order/reservation form for the furniture in question. If no payment has been received after this period, we will put the furniture back online, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Do you also deliver internationally?
Yes, we deliver worldwide. Shipping options and costs vary by country. Please contact contact us for specific options or send a message via the WhatsApp icon at the bottom right of the site.
What are the shipping costs?
These depend on the location and size of the furniture. After completing the order/reservation form of the furniture in question, we ask our carriers for a competitive price. We then communicate these shipping costs by e-mail. After that, the customer still has the option to cancel the reservation free of charge.
Can I arrange a courier myself?
Yes, by arrangement it is possible to use a courier yourself to pick up your furniture from our studio. We will make sure it is ready for shipment.
Payment & returns
How can I pay?
You can pay with iDEAL, Bancontact and PayPal (+ 3.4% surcharge). This can only be done after you have received the invoice from us. This contains a link to the chosen payment method.
Can I return a piece of furniture?
With online purchases, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. Returns are only possible when the furniture is in the same condition as it was delivered. Return costs are at your own expense. When purchasing in our showroom there is no right of return, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Where are you located?
In Baarlo, the Netherlands, with a workshop and showroom. You are welcome to view furniture by appointment. You can do this by reserving a piece of furniture and indicating in the form that you would like to view the furniture in the showroom. Do you also buy furniture?
Yes, definitely. Without purchasing, there are no sales. We are always interested in vintage designer furniture (mid century furniture) from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
