This rare Dutch design chair is executed in teak and upholstered with a fabric in warm shades of white, brown and yellow. With its elegant, sculptural shape and innovative design, this armchair belongs to Hulmefa's iconic Propos series.
Originally, this is a so-called "gentlemen's chair," which is reflected in the high backrest. At that time, gentlemen were expected to be able, after a day's work - often with smokes in their hands - to lean back quietly. A high backrest was therefore considered appropriate and comfortable.
The lounge armchair has been reupholstered and therefore sits like new again. Its elegant, organic shape makes this piece of furniture a pleasure to look at and a real eye-catcher in any interior.
