A stunning example of timeless Danish design from the 1960s. This elegant teak Royal System wall unit, designed by Poul Cadovius, combines a minimalist design with the warm appeal of teak. A design in which simplicity, functionality, and refined details come together effortlessly.
The wall system consists of two wooden wall slats, four shelves, and a practical cabinet with a drop-down door that features a single shelf on the inside. The warm teak elements create a beautiful contrast with the sleek black metal shelf supports. Thanks to its airy, floating design, the piece retains its spacious character. Both the shelves and the cabinet with a hinged door are height-adjustable as desired, making it easy to customize the layout. Ideal for displaying books, ceramics, and other cherished items, while the cabinet with a hinged door offers space to store belongings out of sight.
The wall unit is in lovely vintage condition and has been professionally restored in a few places. It shows slight signs of wear consistent with its age, which contribute to the piece’s authentic character.
A versatile and distinctive design that looks stunning in both modern and classic interiors.
